The glass is surprisingly thick and beautiful. The handles and tracks are sturdy and thick enough. It came unbroken (better than the toilet I ordered last month!) and the pieces are all here. I'm debating whether to tackle this myself or hire a handyman. But it looks beautiful and I'm afraid any issues will be my own installation mistakes from here on. Just put it up. Did it almost all myself,and as a first timer. Just needed my 13 year old to screw the wheels into the 2nd door while I held it up. Instructions suck of course, but I watched a couple videos by people putting in similar ones. Made a few minor mistakes along the way, but all were fixable. Ended up looking great, and fitting PERFECTLY. Just had to measure 5 times and cut... twice in some cases. But always started conservative. You DEFINITELY need a power cutting tool, not a hacksaw, on the top bar. I bought steel cutting discs for my grinder and even that took 3 batter charges. I tried a hacksaw for a few minutes and it hardly made a notch in it. That would take all week. Here's a tip...if any risk of missing the wood studs, add more wood in the wall before tiling. I hit studs luckily. And get a 1/4 diamond hole bit to drill through tile, dipping in water every few minutes. And watch a video how to get that started.. Robert. Fairfax, VA. Tue Aug 18 2026
