Initially, the locking mechanisms to hold it open, were very difficult to lock into place. After holding my tongue between my teeth, emitting a low growl and a bit of elbow grease, I was able to make them, click. I wasn't too sure if this cot was going to be sturdy enough for me. But, sure enough, it holds both me (118lb) and my 70lb dog. He loves it alone too. Easy to clean and store. Plus there are so many possibilities with this cot. I purchased an old time rag rug for covering while in use. It rained last night, in the AM I discovered the canvas is also water tight! Great buy and look.. Elle. Planet V. Thu Oct 22 2026
