I needed something to pull my dining room together. The upholstery on the seats of the dining room chairs are a shade of purple and the purple in this rug was a perfect complement. Runner 2'3" x 7'

I LOVE this rug!!! It was PERFECT for my space. It's heavy. Soft. No shedding. And it laid flat right away. To my eye the darker areas read a little brown as opposed to dark gray. But the lighter area is light grays and cream. I ordered the runner. So just be aware that the runner does not have the detail in pattern and design as the larger sizes. This wasn't a problem for me because I understand that it's too narrow a rug to have everything. Also..That's my fault that I didn't notice that in the picture.
