Duangkamol works in the painstaking celadon technique, creating a beautiful symbol of old Siam. It is glazed in a cool pale green. About the Artist: Duangkamol; Duangkamol Srisukri is from Bangkok. 'Most of my works are Thai and Chinese reproductions like vases, ginger jars, and figurines,' she says. 'My intention is to maintain the ancient art of celadon and stoneware so that future generations can enjoy these pieces. Together with other artists, they have created beautiful hand-crafted pieces with ornate incisions and bas relief. Each piece that they make has many stories to tell. Each piece is individually signed by the artist who has worked on it.'

Ghanaians consider the pachyderms to be a symbol of power and Flerida are frequently present in a variety of adornments and logos, including one of Ghana's political parties. The table stands on three sturdy trunks, exquisitely hand-carved from sese wood. Finally, the table is stained with polish to showcase Obeng's refined detailed work.
