The pile is rougher than most carpet piles made of various plastics, but I got used to it in a few days, and found that I actually prefer it. It's a natural fiber, smells natural, and I feel good that it won't still be around 300 years from now in some landfill.. David. Montrose, CO. Sat Jan 17 2026
