While other clocks may show the time down to the minute, this Tide Wall Clock goes by its own natural flow. At just under 12 inches across, a single navy hand tracks the rise and fall of coastal water — flowing to high, ebbing to low — on the Atlantic's natural 12-hour-25-minute lunar rhythm. The softly flecked dial and pale beechwood finish flush-mount frame put a nice change of pace on the wall of a living room, home office, or pool house — a tranquil focal point for any room, even when the waves are crashing. Calibrate once at high tide with the tide-set wheel, hang from one wall hole, and run on one AA battery for 12+ months. (Best on twice-a-day tides; calibrate to your coast.) The clock keeps time with the moon — you just have to look up.
