We love this chandelier, it is perfect above our island! I did spray paint it flat black because it was a little more dark brown than I wanted. I also purchased mini shades for the bulbs, really helps with the direct light in your eyes. As you can see we also have other lighting in the room but, we love to turn off the can lights and just have the chandelier on. We did put it on a dimmer which, I would definitely recommend.
