The bed is beautiful. In certain light it looks more off-white. Put an 8” mattress on it. Could go with a bit thicker mattress. The bed is very sturdy and well made, solid wood. The true test will be this weekend when the granddaughters visit.. Marci. Wilmington, NC. Wed Oct 27 2021
