The sofa was delivered at the entrance of the apartment building. Thank God for the nice man who knocked on my door and helped me lug it upstairs. Luckily a younger man helped us up three flights of stairs. It is a very heavy sofa. Actually shocked at how heavy. My friend helped me assemble it super hard to get the slipcovers on but love it. Firm which is shocking since I have had down filled furniture before but so far love the couch and it’s pretty. Would’ve got the blue couch but wasn’t sure if it would go with the rug.. Deborah. One year review This couch holds up great! It’s nice quality and good value for under 1000. Pros Easy assembly. Slipcovers are sewn well, easy to take onoff, wash well, no shrinkingfading. No ironing needed. Seat cushions are firm. Wide arms are good for lounging. Cons Low seat, low back. This is definitely better for small spaces, low budgets, college students, or rental properties. The back cushions lose shape quickly and you need extra pillows for support. The tight weave poly fabric does attract pet hair but not so badly that it doesn’t come off. Overall, I’d recommend this if you want something cost effective, easy to clean, will look nice for awhile and isn’t wholly uncomfortable. One of the back cushions did arrive staineddirty, but was easy enough to get out in the wash with some stain remover. The slip cover does come very wrinkled, but didn’t take long to get out with a steamer.
