We needed a fence to hide all of our extensive pool plumbing as well as our huge bulky house generator. This was perfect bc it was the vibe I was going for on our backyard remodel. We extended the fence out pretty far to hide some of our yard - my husband was able to hide all of his toys behind the fence as well. Highly recommend, just hope the wood look will last.. Krista. First off, this gate does come with the hardware needed to attach it to posts or whatever you need. The description wasn't very clear on that, but calling Wayfair Support before purchasing assured me that was the case. Second, we haven't installed it yet because our contractor is building our fence and this will be the last step. Third... and I probably should have started with this, the assembly instructions leave A LOT to be desired. It took me and my husband nearly two hours to put together. The instructions did not say how many of each part we were supposed to have so out of the gate (no pun intended), and just had to start and assume we had everything we needed. Fortunately all parts were there. But there was no way to know that when we started. Then the instructions we're not very clear AT ALL and we have a couple of failed attempt where it became clear we did something wrong and had to pull things off and start again. We're both fairly handy and have assembled plenty of things in the past, so it wasn't operator error. Things didn't fit together easily either and you definitely need a rubber mallet to pound some things into place. It would have been way easier to assemble if they instructions had been more accurate and clear. Fortunately we didn't put the glue on it as it said to do at the beginning, otherwise we would have been really angry having to wipe it off and start again. Lastly, it does look good so far. Photos are leaning up against our garage door. We got the 5 foot wide version. Hopefully our contractor will have an easier time assembling and attaching the gate mechanisms and hinges/latches..
