This product is designed for gates up to 125 lbs and a maximum of 54" W. The closing speed is fully adjustable, allowing the gate to close in a controlled manner. It is recommended for the pool, garden and barrier gates, as well as lightweight (not fire-rated) doors.

the parts themselves are very heavy/sturdy built. they are bulkier than expected but that's fine. the only problem that I have is, there are no instructions included.
