Designed to elevate any interior, the Cadwalader adds a dramatic yet timeless presence.Historic provenance: The Console Table Cadwalader takes its inspiration from a remarkable 18thcentury American table in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art once owned by General John Cadwalader (17421786), a prominent Revolutionary Warera figure in Philadelphia. The original tablelikely created by a Londontrained carver newly arrived in Americacombines the fluid ornamentation of the French Rococo style with the naturalistic precision of English carving. This refined blend of European artistry and American history is reimagined in a contemporary form through The Met x Eichholtz collaboration.
