This chair matches the table and kitchen nook benches perfectly! It is a larger chair so it is perfect for my husband. The back of the chair actually has an outward curve to it. The seat pan is big and has a sloped area where your rump and legs would sit. The back of the seat is about 16" wide and gradually increases to 20" at the front. Very pleased with this purchase! **Edited to add a photo of the chair with the table. As the picture shows, the back of the chair has a curve to support a relaxed sitting position.. Dana. MI. This chest of drawers was bigger than expected but still great for storage. It’s wide, but short from front to back. I paid for the deliverers to assemble it, but one of the drawers is slightly defective and doesn’t open as nicely as the others do. You have to pull it open with both knobs rather than just one. I really wanted a bench for a good place to sit kids if I need to, but I was pleasantly surprised to have it easily seat 3 average- sized adults! My husband, adult daughter, and teenage son all sat on this comfortably for dinner. It is a true white color, as you can see from my photo against my antique white table legs and walls. Having a back makes bench seating so much more comfortable and this one is the perfect height to fit under my service window. We thought it looked too bulky in our space at first, but it has really grown on us! I haven’t decided if I’ll paint it antique white to match the surroundings. I took off one star because one of the sides came with a misaligned hole! Thankfully, my husband it handy and measured and drilled a hole in the correct spot.
