I looked long and hard for the perfect wood color, decor fit, size and price. This hit it all! I love it! And the leaf gives added character with the two tone. Chairs are sturdy and cozy. We got the set quickly (in time for Thanksgiving) and appreciated it. Once opened, we found the table top was scratched badly and deep in a few places. It seems the top finish was possibly not sealed We contacted Wayfair Edyce and Shelly thank you for your assistance the BEST and they immediately took care of the replacement with the vendor and no problems. The replacement came quick, no scratches, yay! Easy return of original table. For a precaution however, on the new tabletop we added water based polyurethane x 3 coats, lightly sanded after 2nd coat with paper bag. (Don’t do it unless you know what you’re doing) Worked like a charm and looks beautiful! I would also advise using placements forever lol. We definitely will!
It’s such a pretty table to have a terrible finish. We might’ve just got a defect, who knows. But, I was not about to find out. So to the vendor, if you don’t put enough product on your tables, you will have unhappy customers. But I am so very grateful for your amazing customer satisfaction.
