This rug is very nice. The main color is a burgundy but there are also small areas of sage, pale blue, and tan with a border that is ecru. It looks wonderful in our hallway. It does not shed since it is a synthetic. But it is very slippery without a rug pad. It definitely has a nap so if you look at it from the opposite direction it appears lighter and more shimmery..
