Why Your Cats Need a Catio? The outdoors is full of potential dangers for cats. Toxins, predators, vehicles, and even the potential of getting lost can all threaten your cat’s life. But that doesn’t mean that your indoor-only cat can’t enjoy the outdoors. A practical solution is getting a catio, which lets your cat go outdoors and enjoy plenty of fresh air while still being safely contained. If your indoor cat is bored or spends lots of time looking out the window, he might enjoy a catio.

Awesome! Our cat loves this thing. It was perfect for him to be able to get outside this summer and this fall. He would cry at window to be let inside the cat catio. . Carrie. Renton, WA. Thu Oct 29 2026

We love this catio, and our two cats do too! There’s plenty of room for two large-breed cats to move around, stretch out, and lounge comfortably. We have it set up on our covered porch, which helps protect it from most of the weather. It’s as sturdy as we expected and feels secure enough for us to feel comfortable letting our cats enjoy their outdoor space. They get to experience the fresh air and outdoor sights while still being safely contained.
