The traditional style of this thermometer will add a classic elegance to your outdoor living space.

I absolutely love it! Great quality and easy to calibrate.. Julie. Iron Mountain, MI. Wed May 20 2026

This traditional weather station is both a work of art and an instrument at home in any fine study, library, office, or upscale restaurant. The rich, wood framed classic weather station measures barometric pressure (liquid). The antique weather station displays an air of quality and accuracy one would expect with a fine, handcrafted weather instrument from Ambient Weather. The concept that 'decreasing atmospheric pressure predicts stormy weather' was postulated by Lucien Video and it's the basis for a weather prediction device called a storm glass or liquid barometer. It consists of a glass container with a sealed body, half-filled with water. A narrow spout connects to the body below the water level and rises above the water level, where it is open to the atmosphere. When the air pressure is lower than it was at the time the body was sealed, the water level in the spout will rise above the water level in the body and when the air pressure is higher, the water level in the spout will drop below the water level in the body. Also includes a comfort meter, which measures temperature and humidity, and a comfort zone indicator.

Super cool weather station that really does predict rain! Looks great on the wall.. Judy. US. Thu Jan 08 2026

Send real-time data to www.AmbientWeather.net. The Ambient Weather Network is the most user-friendly design for monitoring your data across different platforms. Quickly view detailed information with our animated expandable modules. Monitor indoor and outdoor conditions, including wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV, light intensity, barometric pressure, indoor temperature, indoor humidity, dew point, heat index, wind chill, and more. The fan-aspirated outdoor sensor array is solar powered and charges a supercapacitor. Back up batteries provide power at night and extended periods of darkness. The projected battery life is 2-3 years with high-quality lithium or alkaline batteries. The fan is powered by the solar collector during the day, providing improved accuracy during daytime operation. Also includes an indoor sensor that monitors temperature and humidity from anywhere inside or outside your home. Supports up to seven additional thermo-hygrometer sensors (TX-3110B) for a total of eight sensors. The time is automatically synchronized through the internet UTC time server, providing split-second accuracy. Ambient Weather's newest professional weather station allows you to monitor your home and backyard weather conditions with the brilliant, easy-to-read high contrast reverse PMVA color display. The enhanced Wi-Fi connectable option that enables your station to transmit its data wirelessly to the world's largest personal weather station network, Weather Underground. Experience the convenience of having your personal weather information with you on the go using your computer, tablet, or mobile device.

Say goodbye to your old-school storm glass, wind vanes, and anemometers, and say hello to the AcuRite Iris (5-in-1) Wireless Home Weather Station! Way more advanced than a basic indoor/outdoor thermometer, the indoor weather gauge display provides you with the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall. It also acts as the perfect weather clock, as it provides the time, date, and moon phase, in addition to a hyperlocal forecast 12 hours from your current conditions calculated by data collected by the wireless outdoor sensor in your yard. The outdoor weather station with rain gauge measures conditions and relays the data to the display, so you’ll know what it is like out in your backyard without even having to go outside! Plus, you’ll have remote monitoring capabilities that will let you check your digital weather station’s hyperlocal data on your phone using the AcuRite NOW® mobile app. With all of your hyperlocal weather data at your fingertips, you’ll be able to boast to your neighbors that you have the best weather station! The remote weather station uses solar power to regulate internal temperature for more accurate temperature measurements, which can be sent — along with the other weather data — from up to 330 feet (100 meters) away (and through walls) using a 433 MHz wireless signal. The best-in-class weather display will look great in your personal weather center or rec room next to your sports ticker with its straightforward readability from almost any angle. With this professional home weather station, Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to set custom alerts that can be received and viewed on your AcuRite NOW app. These alerts make this the perfect weather station to keep tabs on your summer home or use as an RV weather station at the campsite. This weather underground weather station also allows you to share your weather data online with the weather underground community. The indoor weather station is AC-powered and also takes three (3) AAA batteries (not included) for optional backup in case of a power outage. The wireless outdoor sensor requires four (4) AA batteries (not included, lithium recommended for optimal performance). A perfect gift idea for Christmas, Father's Day, or birthdays, this weather station comes with a one-year limited warranty.

Easy to setup. Works great.. Michael. Halifax, NS. Wed Oct 22 2025

This traditional piece is at home in any fine study, office, library, upscale restaurant, or scientific laboratory. The weather station measures temperature (in °F), barometric pressure (mbar and inHg), and humidity (%). The bezels display an air of quality and accuracy one would expect with a fine, handcrafted weather instrument. Note: Barometer only operates to 3,000'. Do not order if you live above 3,000'. Weather Forecasting The weather forecast or pressure tendency is based on the rate of change of barometric pressure. In general, when the pressure increases, the weather improves (sunny to partly cloudy) and when the pressure decreases, the weather degrades (cloudy to rain). The weather forecast is an estimation or generalization of weather changes in the next 24 to 48 hours, and varies from location to location. The tendency is simply a tool for projecting weather conditions and is never to be relied upon as an accurate method to predict the weather. The barometer includes a manually set needle, which is used to mark the current measurement so a change can be seen. Barometric readings should be taken daily. Remember that the rate of change of barometric pressure is important in determining weather changes. You may want to take multiple readings each day during periods of unstable weather conditions.
