I'm very familiar with COMFOREL and have used it to replace Down in cushions for my couch. I also have bed pillows filled with Comforel that are many years old. I can't comment on these pillows because I haven't used them yet.
Well it's been one month since I started using these Comforel. First few days they are too puffy but after a week they have lost the excessive puffiness and look more like the photo, flatter. NOT too flat, pillows are now GREAT and have not lost their shape over the past 2.5 to 3 weeks.
I ROTATE the 2 pillows I use each night. IF you're looking for lovely sheets with GENEROUS pillowcases go to LINEN CHEST and look at the HOTEL FIVE STAR LUXURIOUS sheets and pillowcases, yes you clan buy extra pairs of pillowcases.
DO NOT GIVE UP ON THESE PILLOWS give them a week and they'll be great.
I have ONE concern, there is nothing on the packaging and the LABELS that states CMFOREL. It's a great "fill" so I don't understand why this isn't stated on each Pilllow1
UPDATE: give these pillows time. I started with one on sept 22 on 'sleep' side (left) of bed. Sept 25 I added 2nd pillow on the 'watch TV' side' of the bed ;-). Very 'puffy' pillows out of the bag but they are becoming less puffy but still soft and supportive.
I had a pain problem on left shoulder near neck that would hurt when I rolled from left side (TV) to my right side (sleep). THIS was gone by the the 3rd night (Sept 24). Maybe the slightly higher pillow made my neck/shoulder angle better. I can't think of any reason why my neck/shoulder pain has now disappeared. Fingers Crossed!
ONLY ONE CONCERN, these pillows barely fit into my Queen pillow cases which are 100% cotton and nw 19 x 29 inches instead of 20 x 30. :(
It has been 5 months since I purchased these pillows and they are EXCELLENT. Fill (comforel?) does not move around or bunch up.
