The smoker is equipped with a side wood chip loader, so there's no need to open the door to add wood chips during the smoking process. This helps to seal in the heat of the food. Adding a box of wood chips will last for 2-3 hours of smoking, which helps avoid the need for frequent addition of wood chips and is perfect for beginners. And smoker equipped with 2 rear rolling wheels and handle, you can move the smoker as you like wherever you want to use it. And when you are finished using it, it can easily be moved to a corner without taking up space of your patio.

As it relates to this smoker I can attest that this East Oak Smoker does an amazing job. If using all 4 racks remember to offset the meat so you can experience evenly smoked/cooked meat. This smoker is exactly what I expected it to be. Everything is there to create some great Bbq. Tweaked it some by adding two more thermometers, door seals on both doors and caulk for the seams. Holds temp beautifully. Once I got the heat right it was game on. Being able to see the temp in the firebox is critical so you know when to add wood or charcoal. So far cooked chicken on it twice and just did a 9.5 lb pork shoulder that when done the meat just fell apart and had an amazing flavor. This unit is just the perfect size, not bulky and I definitely recommend the cover that fits it. Seasoned both boxes before I cooked anything and also added a hole 1/4 inch hole for a meat thermometer in the smoker box up in the top corner. Brisket and ribs are next.. James. Bear, DE. This product is the perfect combination of the smoker, BBQ, and grill for the smoker enthusiast with the space to cook for large groups. This product gives the outdoor chef complete control over their smoked food via fire access doors, air dampers, and a location for flavored wood chips this three-in-one smoker, barbecue, and grill has a whopping 738 sq. in. of cooking space over 3 different cooking grates - that's more than enough space to cook for a party of 8 or more! The separate firebox chamber is what makes this a "smoker" - connected to the side of the main chamber, the firebox is a smaller chamber where you burn your charcoal or wood fuel. A small hole connecting the 2 chambers allows heat, smoke, and flavor from inside the firebox to enter the main chamber and indirectly cook your meal to a juicy, smoky, and tender perfection. The main grill chamber features a 254 sq. inch cooking area in addition to a 738 sq. inch surface in the firebox chamber, adding up to over 900 sq. inches of space to indirectly cook your meat, vegetables, and anything else you're serving. However, if you would like to directly grill some or all of your meal, this product doesn't disappoint located in the firebox chamber on an adjustable-height porcelain-coated wire, which is enough to directly cook a lot! As with all grills, this product recommends keeping the firebox clean to help avoid flare-ups as well as using a grill cover to protect your investment.
