Illuminate your space with the 1-Light Concrete Dome Pendant, a perfect blend of industrial charm and modern elegance. This striking fixture features a beautifully crafted cement shade in a classic dome shape, delivering a bold yet sophisticated statement in any room. Designed to accommodate one medium base E26 bulb (not included), this pendant is ideal for those seeking a unique and stylish lighting solution that effortlessly complements contemporary decor.
There are some things I really like about this pendant and a couple that hold it back. The shade itself looks great. It has a smooth concrete finish that hits a nice balance between modern and industrial. I bought this to replace a cheap glass and chrome pendant and to improve task lighting over a counter without adding more ambient light. In that respect it works very well. The solid shade keeps the light focused downward, and I really think more counter pendants should use opaque shades like this.
There are two issues. First is how it hangs. I wanted a clean straight drop, but the wire is held by pinch style circular clamps at the top and bottom that push it slightly off center. It is better than my old fixture, and the wire does straighten a bit over time, but it is still not perfectly straight. Most people will never notice, but it is an poor design choice that could be improved at almost no cost.
The second issue is the bulb placement. The bulb sits about halfway outside the bottom of the shade. I did not catch this from the product photos, which made it look more enclosed. My kids kind of like this and they think it looks like a flower. But even more than I don't like translucent shades on task lights, I really do not like seeing exposed bulbs, especially on lights I want to turn up to high brightness. I also have a larger version of this fixture that fully covers the bulb, and I prefer that design quite a bit more. Overall, a nice looking pendant with great light control, but a questionable design choices keep me from really liking it.. Ian. Fridley, MN. Fri Mar 20 2026
