The table set Ovale was designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The Ovale collection strives to be original, but it also wants to be rustic and traditional. We set out in pursuit of delicate expression. This composition speaks about everyday life, about breakfast, lunch, and about everyone getting together for dinner. There is a desire for simplicity.

I got the spoons, and this smaller fork, for dinner parties. They are too good for everyday, unless you want to go in that direction. The weight is great. The shape is different, kind of modern, I think.. Therese. Sedona, AZ. Wed Oct 16 2019

Soft, meticulous lines, combined with the utmost attention to formal detail. The shaped profiles of each piece of cutlery are the characteristic of the cutlery set Itsumo, an element that ensures a pleasant sensation both in gripping the objects and in contact with the lips.

Another Alessi winner! These are really lovely stainless steel butter knives. I am thinking about ordering another 6 to have a complete set for my table.. Rochelle. Reno Nv. Sat Sep 05 2020

Following the typical minimalist approach that features in all Jasper Morrison's work, this design is an attempt to reduce the "cutlery-object" to its barest essence, its purest and most customary form and what might tentatively be called its definitive form, and deliberately stripped of all stylistic value and - perhaps precisely because of this - clearly recognizable as Morrison's work.

These normally come in a set. I did not know this was only for 1, otherwise great item from Alessi. Christine. Chicago, IL. Mon Mar 08 2021
