The sofa set arrived well packaged in 4 boxes. Both the sofa and love seat are held together with metal plates that fit together. The bad thing is if you try to move the furniture they do separate. IT is nice that each piece has 4 legs giving extra support in the center of the pieces. The cushions are on the harder side. - not a soft sofa to relax on. The material looks nice and sturdy..
