My takeaway: Good for our purpose, not great over-all. Purchased the 3'3"x5' for under the desk for my husband so his work chair would roll more smoothly (our floors are hardwood). It is not particularly high quality, but it was right for what we needed. The abstract grey/blue design is accurate to what is pictured, It is quite a low pile and thin over all, so it works well for this purpose but does not have the kind of luxurious feel I would want in a living room etc. We are currently using it with out a pad, with no issues as it is anchored in place by furniture.
