I ordered these due to the design. I wasnt really sure where to put them in the house. After a couple of days, our kids decided that they would go good in their rooms. So, thats where they were hung. I had read in the reviews that they were difficult to install by following the directions of putting the brackets on the wall and then putting the shelves on and securing them. I put them together and then hung them up with no trouble at all. I love the look of the wood on the shelves along with the black on the brackets. They work perfect for the kids to display stuff on. Another great Wayfair find. Matte black brackets match the rest of the fixtures beautifully. Was a bit of a challenge to ensure I installed all three evenly. For this product, a template for the screw placement on the instruction page would have been really useful. So I made my own. Worked great! The “wood” shelves smelled a bit out of the packaging but that dissipated quickly. I also like that it comes with screws that go into the bottom of the shelf to keep them in place.
