My husband likes to eat in front of the tv, but he has to bend over to sit on the couch and eat off the coffee table. Now we can both sit on the couch with the perfect height tables for eating, and then we can store them under the couch. This portable tray can probably be convenient for a lot of purposes. For me, I wanted a table/desk tray to use at any seat and this just doesn't do what I need it to. The wheels do not glide smoothly and do not lock in place if needed. The adjustments never really lock in place so with little force you can move them and of course over time they become looser and looser. Making stability an issue. It's also smaller than expected.
