I like the customizable shelves. Plan ahead take inventory of the sizes and weights of the things (storage tubs, boxes, etc.) you want to store to decide the perfect sizing for the shelves because once you build it, you don’t want to dismantle it for adjustments. Also, assemble this in the place you plan to keep it. The shelves are lined with particle board, which is flimsy but not concerning for me given this unit sits in a dark storage closet. It feels pretty solid and was easy to put together. My only critique so far on it would be the shelf bases are a little warped. The edges are a bit curved so they dont fit exactly on the shelf.
