I originally thought this would make a nice shoe basket for my walking sport shoes - as they are too large for a shoe box. Very quickly I found that they are beautiful for more than that - and now I have to restrain myself from ordering a dozen... And the "look" is so wonderful - that I have different sizes and same "weave" and I have settled on two neutral colors of them. Very happy with these. I used to use plastic boxes - I like these better as it feels like I have left "shoe world of a child" and entered "calm pretty basket world".
