Oh my my my!!! I NEEDED something “pretty” to make me feel better in these crazy times we all are going through! Well, these curtains made me HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!! I had previously purchased another style of the barn door curtains made by this same company and I loved them. BUT, with my first choice, there was just something a little off to my eye with the color—it seemed too bright of gray for where I put them to cover my laundry room space in my kitchen. Those curtains were still GORGEOUS too, but the present curtains that I’m reviewing now just make my kitchen complete and totally perfect to me!!! Beautiful, vivid colors—rustic, rugged/antique looking colors—bronze/copper colors, browns/gray-browns, grays, and a little reddish rust in the metal “hardware” pictured on the curtains. The colors in these curtains are just blended all together and go so so well with my slate flooring, my gray-green cabinets, my gray subway tiles and the center strip of my glass accent tiling on the center of my backsplash (glass tiles have colors of bronze/gray/black). One thing I absolutely am silly happy about is that when I have on my laundry room light behind THESE curtains, it looks just like....maybe a horse stable (I know that sounds silly) with a light glowing behind the curtains. Or, they kind of look like stained glass in a way, with the light glowing through, and they look especially pretty when the rest of the kitchen is dark! I’m attaching pics and hopefully you can see what I’m talking about! The first 3 pics show how the light in my laundry room is lit up behind the curtains. These curtains (both sets I’ve ordered) are very well made and feel soft and smooth to the touch. It seems like they won’t hold dust to them much at all. With all the Coronavirus problems, these curtains did take a little bit longer to get to me than usual. BUT, I totally understand and I feel very fortunate that I could even still get my curtains. The sweet sweet rep (Macayla I think that’s how you spell her name) kept in touch with me, on a regular basis to update me on when to expect my curtains. She was oh so so very sweet and reassuring, and explained that the particular plant that was shipping these to me had been required, out of a safety precaution, to close to be extra cleaned! I really APPRECIATED knowing the safety precautions that are being taken by Wayfair in regards to shipping me products!! My hats off to Wayfair and all the reps for BEING THERE for me during this time and continuing to get things that I NEED or things that just make me happy, as it IS therapeutic for me!
