I love it! I wanted a more modern and open bookshelf with storage, and my furniture taste has shifted to mid-century. This piece is excellent for my purpose and hides the "junky" stuff easily in the closed cabinet. Assembly was actually quite easy - even for a 71 year old! My only "change" to the provided instructions is attaching the shelves; it is much easier to lay the piece on it's back and screw in the 6 screws per shelf than it is to stand on your head and do it upside down! The bookcase features 4-tier open shelves and 2-tier large drawer storage

I purchased two for extra storage in my bedroom. LOVE THEM. They were exactly as pictured. A couple of things to note 1) instructions says you need 2 people to build this. I built both by myself. The only time you *may* want a second hand is during the first step when connecting the sides, but I recommend flipping them upside down, it was so much easier. Building both took me probably 4ish hours with a couple of pauses in between for lunchphone break. 2) the handle color for the drawers is more coppery than gold and does not match (for the whitegold version). It is annoying but not the end of the world. I notice it because I know it’s different but others may not. 3) package is about 80lbs when delivered. the bookcase is great. the color is slightly off from the pictures but i expected that based on reviews and it matches my other furniture as a result. maybe have more ergonomic philips head screwdriver ready because the one it comes with hurt my palm quite a bit. only complaint is the mechanism to keep the bookshelf from tilting was confusing. im just going to get a different earthquake strap..
