The sofa came well packaged and was quite easy to move and assemble on my own. The white slipcover is more ivory than white based upon lighting, but not at all an issue. The assembly was simple and easy, in which I had it assembled in less than 30 minutes after taking the sofa out of its packaging. The back cushions are quite soft while the seating cushions are quite firm. I hold optimism that within some time the seating cushions will become softer and more comfortable.
