Very happy with this value version of this chair! For the price this can't be beat. I have an expensive version of the same thing, and this is a bit smaller but works for kids and grownups alike, most comfortable for those below 5'9". It does take a couple days to fully decompress, and I had to go out and buy a clothes steamer (basic version from brand H. B.) to get the wrinkles out. The wrinkles were not going to come out on their own, and using my iron wasn't working because there are so many folds and curves. I bought a cheap steamer and used it pressed up against the fabric and just with steam, both worked and didn't harm the fabric, but you do have to go in the direction of the fabric nap (where petting it smooths the fuzziness), or perpendicular to the nap, just don't steam against the nap. Originally I bought this for the look, but found out it's so comfortable: sit straight with your legs down, curl your legs up, use the top edge of the back as an arm rest while sitting sideways, all good. So easy to move around; we have it in front of a window and sometimes you want to sit facing one way, later the other, no problem. It's lightweight and nothing to scratch the floor, so just tug a corner and maneuver it wherever you want. Actual measurements (took one star off bc it's a little smaller than listed): seat cushion side to side (not including the corner fabric "ears") 29", front to back 35", seat depth about 18", seat back about 19". Very comfortable, you don't sink into the foam much, it's more that the molded shape of the foam cradles you.. Andrea. Boulder, CO. Tue Jan 20 2026
