The paint job was "stripey" and the color was not good (the black paint looked blue in the sunlight) so I had to paint it. I also found it hard to maneuver the pump and hose in the small space; I cut about 4.5 inches and had to crimp it to stuff it into the hole (wish they had used a smaller hose so it could fit up into the hole). Also, instructions said to put 5 gallons of distilled water, but it took about 15 gallons. I really like the look and sound of this fountain - I didn't find it to be too loud as some others have mentioned. Now that it's painted and installed I really love the look.. Angie. Austin, TX. I have been looking for a fountain for my deck and this one did not disappoint! It arrived very well packed with no damage. It was easy to assemble.
