The Sinclair collection for Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines x Loloi is power-loomed of polyester, including 58% Global Recycling Standard (GRS) certified recycled polyester (made from recycled plastic bottles), certified by Control Union 1171944. Sinclair area rugs have incredible softness and durability comparable to classic power-loomed rugs, while also reducing waste in their production. This collection is also machine-washable, making it an ideal rug in high-traffic living rooms, hallways, entryways, and children’s rooms. The design features antique motifs with intricate details and slight distressing, creating a sophisticated, storied feel.
Beautiful muted colors and a genuinely vintage look
The Sinclair ClayTobacco is even better in my room than I expected. In person, the background reads as a soft dusty claytaupe, with faded olive, tobacco, blush and small touches of pale aqua. The aqua is subtle—it connects beautifully with my teal cabinet without making the rug look blue.
The distressed pattern gives it the look of an old collected rug, and the lighter field softens my dark brown leather furniture without overwhelming the room. It arrived folded, so it still has some creases, but it already lies nicely and feels appropriately scaled for the seating area.
