Very well engineered - sturdy furniture. Easy (but time consuming) assembly. Important note - immediately after I assembled it, I sprayed it with outdoor wood sealer, in a matte finish. This couch is really nice and comfortable! The only thing that I missed in the description was that the cushions are not tied down to the seats. So if you're moving around... or have a 6 year old... the cushions tend to slide off. I fixed that with commercial grade double sided velcro. But thought I would share for others to know.. Alicia.
