I have seen too many reviews, saying it leaks all over when pouring because they’re trying to pour through the whistle opening rather than the kettle opening! Honestly, some people should not be allowed to write reviews if they don’t understand how to use the simplest of products!! This is a great sized kettle! It’s much bigger than the last one I had. I also like that it’s stainless steel so less chance of it breaking if knocked off the counter by a cat. It’s also great that it has the boil dry protection and will shut off automatically if the water level is too low. It’s a pretty basic model with just an on-off switch.
