I needed a hybrid mattress for support because I’ve had two back surgeries. I also looked for it to be especially plush to combat the pressure point soreness I experience in my hips as a side sleeper. The Helix Sunset has worked really well for me from the very first night. With my old mattresses, I would wake up several times a night needing to roll over, even when sleeping on what felt like a a very plush hybrid mattress. In the morning, I’d also move slowly due to nearly constant low level back pain. I was surprised when I woke up that first morning after sleeping on the Helix Sunset. I had no back pain, and I could move around more easily. I can hardly remember now, how my back used to feel in the morning. I rarely wake up anymore to roll over because of hip soreness.
