A lovely oval back chair with styling derived from late 18th-century French originals. The upholstered seat is raised on tapering legs below an upholstered back. Lacquer coatings are not invulnerable to direct sunlight and heat, scratches, dents, or spills of alcoholic beverages. Avoid using silicone waxes, oil-based polishes, or lemon oils. Keep your furniture shielded from daily exposure to direct sunlight, as the sun may cause deterioration of the original finish. Clean your furniture with routine dusting using a damp cloth and then dry the surface immediately using a dry, soft cloth. Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain. For line fabric: spot clean only with a water-free dry-cleaning solvent. Pretest a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding. Do not saturate. Pile fabrics may require brushing with a non-metallic, soft bristle brush to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and dry-cleaned. To prevent overall soiling, frequent vacuuming or light brushing with a non-metallic, soft bristle brush to remove dust and grime is recommended. When cleaning a spill, blot immediately to remove spilled material. Evenly clean the entire panel in a seam-to-seam fashion. Do not clean just the spots or stains.
