About This Product

The award-winning Amiata pays homage to an extinct volcano of the same name—a mountain sacred to the ancient Etruscans, who favored thermal baths. Like all Victoria + Albert bathtubs, the Amiata is composed of Volcanic Limestone™, an extraordinary durable and beautiful stone. The design atelier of Meneghello Paolelli Associati was inspired by this material and the history of Mount Amiata to create a design that is neither concave or convex, but a balance of the two. Shaped to the body and made to sink deeply into comfort, the Amiata stays reminiscent of the past, while being ever present.

Englishcast™ solid surface is made from finely ground natural volcanic limestone. Every product is hand-finished, UV- and stain-resistant and offers exceptional strength and durability.
Each finish is multi-layered using a special catalyzed paint, with hand polishing between applications. The technique results in an exceptional depth and luster to the finish and is considerably more durable than hand-painted surfaces.
With the design molding to the curves of the body, the bathtub provides a comfortable and luxurious experience for the bather.
