Very happy so far! We put this pergola up one week ago and have been very happy with the aesthetic, shade, and simple functionality. Assembly was straightforward with the exception of a minor hiccup - the QR code that was supposed to link to assembly instructions did not work. We used a Mirador assembly video on YouTube as reference, and it went together relatively simply. Two people, two drills, and two ladders is the ideal assembly scenario. This will make it relatively quick and efficient. Have only tested in light rain so far, and it kept us dry as designed. Looks great, seems sturdy, has held up to multiple rainstorms. The installation instructions, however, are not great and I had to redo some parts because of it. I knew from reading previous reviews that this would be the case and tried to thoroughly figure out the instructions beforehand but still had issues. This is much nicer than ones I had purchased in the past but even still there's a couple problems with it nothing major.. seems like everywhere where there was a k screw the holes were off and the side rail to connect the shades is pretty flimsy which is surprising cuz the rest of it isn't.. anyway it's a good buy looks great.. Turned out nice. Had this professionally installed and mounted the post in concrete blocks to give more stability. The metal pieces itself is lightweight aluminum but when connected together it’s sturdy. Only gripe are the shade connector poles. Their means of connecting could be improved because they slide off & disconnect from one another every now & then but so far holds up well with rain when shade is pulled back.
