About This Product

Offering a contrasted stripes design on one side and a neutral look on the other, the Duetto rug combines two desings in one piece. The construction is made by tufting the piles in rows, alternating stitchlines on the front side with rows of contrasted color on the reverse side. The rug is embellished with embroidered color dots on top of the canvas borders, and finished with a double layer of natural color fringes opening up from the canvas base.

Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
