We decided to use this for a storage chest in one bedroom versus outside. We ;ike the depth of the deck box. I must admit that this was a challenge to put together but not impossible and it take two people to assemble. We had a hard time with the putting the top on but figure out ond had no problems. The box is larger than our old which was plastic. So far it has deterred a bear from opening the metal lid. A bear opened our plastic bin and pulled out a small metal barrel holding bird seed. It took us about three to four hours over the course of two afternoons. I recommend two people during assembly. Once assembled the bin seems very sturdy. Assembly was a snap (literally) until you reach snapping E into B. Not sure if my unit had a bent piece, but I had to end up using a hammer a mallet and pull panel B back to snap E into B. This part was very frustrating and it took me longer than it should have but eventually, I figured it out hence minus one star.
