This frame seems extremely sturdy. It took me about two hours to unboxed and put together both chairs. The instructions could be better, and I did use my own tool when attaching the chair to the swivel base. These are fantastic outdoor chairs! My 13 year old put them together and it took him a while, but it wasnt too challenging...well, he did attach one arm backwards, but other than that they were perfect, lol!
