After putting it together I ran it on cement and said, oh no! But I was wrong. It's not designed to sweep up the cement floor, especially a rough finish floor. It's meant to be used on dirt or grass. Wow, it impressed me so much on the grass and dirt. I was amazed at how well it sweeps. It picked up leaves and loos grass. I think this is a wonderful tool. I think it would work on artificial turf as well. Easy to assemble, it's just the handles, and easy to use. Just push or pull. It just works. Very good product, good value.
