We first bought another shower base for basically the same amount of money. When it arrived, there was no way we could have the contractor install it. The supporting ribs were visible and there were other manufacturing flaws. The company we bought it for basically said tough. So we found this one and order it. Wow what a difference! It arrived on time with great tracking provided. Our contractor said the quality was night and day. This was a shower base he would put in his house. Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close! Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. I ordered the wrong size the first time, but Wayfair gave me credit for it without a problem! From among the small neo angle shower pans in stock, I picked the 36”x 36” Voltaire in acrylic white by Swiss Madison and I couldn’t be happier! We purchased the 60x34 RH shower pan. Very nice quality and we will be very happy with it. Only issues we found with it was the sides were not milled quite straight/square so had to sand down a bit on one end.
