Silicone does not bond and opens allowing water to remain behind it until you notice the need to re caulk. Instructions state to use sealant, but do not state exactly what. 100% silicone did not even last 1 month before opening. I am unsure of what to use to maintain integrity, but I'd say NO if I had to buy again. New isn't always better.

Unit has been in place for three years and is durable and easily maintained with one exception. As designed and installed following instructions, the bottom of the side and back panels have too much movement in and out where they meet the tub top, causing it to almost be impossible to maintain a silicone caulking seal. Have had to reseal it multiple times and repair water damage to front side of tub from leakage. Very dissapointed.
