This is a great pergola! I love that it provides an area of shade on my back porch without blocking the sunlight coming into my house completely. The roof itself is light filtering, which is great because it’s not completely blacked out. I love the curtains and mash liner so that I can enclose it if I need to or keep it open. The installation itself was not accurate according to the instruction pamphlet. It only needed two people, but took between six and eight hours to assemble. Starting the assembly process! At least a 2-person job for holding ends together when attaching each piece. I love the deep black coated frame, which gives it a very expensive look for a budget friendly piece. The material has good stitching, so hoping to last for more than 1 summer. We have been wanting to get a pergola for so long, and have been hesitant to pull the trigger. I’m so glad we finally did! We are so pleased with this one! It was a bit of a process to put together, but not terrible. It took two people about 5 hours to finish, and the last few steps we needed three people. Overall it was relatively easy, just a lot of steps. The top shade is a bit transparent so you can still see out of it, which we like, and the drapes are thick so if you want to close them to block out that sun you can.
