This shoe bench feels sturdy, has a fairly comfortable cushion, and looks as pictured. It has a few pieces in the assembly process and the parts are not interchangeable because of the shelf embedded on one side, but it was exactly what I needed - a pretty, narrow bench to sit on while putting on my shoes by the door in my hallway, for both myself and my older parents.. Elevate your home decor with the versatile Tyrell Wood Storage Bench in natural. Crafted entirely from wood, this bench is designed to blend seamlessly with any interior style, offering both function and style. Whether placed in the entryway, living room, or bedroom, its inviting natural finish adds warmth and elegance to your space.

The quality is very good, I'd say closer to 5 stars. There's some minor sheen differences in the wood that I expect will look more consistent after cleaning. Packaging was good also, very easy to break down and separate out the styrofoam and cardboard as I'm able to recycle both. However, the unit was damaged -- one leg where it curves to form the long "ski" broke clean through. I don't know whether to blame the packaging or the design of the unit (but it is very stout). Maybe the shipper. In any case, customer service was painless and really top notch. I opted for a discount. I ended up repairing the leg and I'm happy overall.. Paige. Anacortes, WA. Sat Nov 08 2025

Love this bench. It’s heavy and durable. I did spray the fabric with scotch guard spray due to concern that the fabric will stain easily. Had it two days and it’s already dirty- hoping it cleans easily. Easy to build. There are velcroed storage bins inside which can be removed easily for larger item storage. Very nice feature c. Toni. This bench doesn’t just sit in your space—it breathes history into it. Crafted from salvaged timber, each plank carries the whispered stories of its past life. The natural cracks, nail holes, and variations in tone aren’t flaws—they’re proof of character, preserved with reverence. The design is deliberately simple—just thick, solid wood atop sturdy splayed legs—because when material speaks this eloquently, it needs no ornament. No two pieces are alike, and yours will develop its own soft sheen over years of use. This is slow decor for those who believe beauty should be earned, not manufactured.
