These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. I am a hot sleeper, especially since menopause (sorry guys) and have been fighting the heat during the night with overhead fans and an oscillating fan as well. I didn’t necessarily trust the hype with cooling sheets, and especially didn’t like the price point either! I did plenty of research on what type of cooling sheets were the best and everything pointed to the Bamboo viscose material. I found this sheet set on sale and figured I would pull the trigger to test them without a lot of money out of pocket. The first thing I noticed when opening the package was the packaging itself. This set came in a really nice box (not a mailing box) as well as the sheets themselves were also enclosed in a fabric bag inside the heavy duty box. The material was really nice & silky feeling, but not heavy. I did put them thru a rinse cycle without any detergent then dried them on low temp as recommended. (I’m going to pick up some Dreft just to wash these sheets specifically since that is a mild detergent, as recommended). After I removed them immediately from the dryer, there were some mild wrinkles but those came out after putting them on the bed. Sleeping in these sheets last night for the first time was a game changer for me!! These sheets were so cool (not cold) all night long. I’m usually kicking off the top sheet (I don’t sleep with blankets, only the top sheet) multiple times during the night but not these. The only time I removed the top sheet was when I got out of bed in the morning! I don’t normally leave reviews for things but I just had to with these. Also, the pillow cases were different than standard cases. They come with a zipper the full length of the case which fully encloses your pillow without the loose ends of a regular case just flopping around. Loved that! I have already recommended these sheets to my best friend who is currently a “hot sleeper” as well. If you have ever doubted cooling sheets, these are the go-to ones, in my opinion, with a really good price too, especially compared to other much higher priced sheets! Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. These sheets are amazing. They are 100% cotton and fit my extra tall mattress without moving or shifting through the night and being 100% cotton are breathable. For those that say they are 'stiff' that is what percale sheets are, a nice crisp cotton sheet. This isn't my first set of percale cotton and over time through washing and adding softener they will soften but who doesn't love slipping into a nice crisp set of sheets at the end of a hard day?.
