This is a great sturdy bench and shoe storage area for an entrance of a house. It was very easy to put together, except the directions were not clear enough on the final four screws that connect the top to the sides, I accidentally pushed it too tight and they pressed through the top of the bench. Packaging was good also, very easy to break down and separate out the styrofoam and cardboard as I'm able to recycle both. However, the unit was damaged -- one leg where it curves to form the long "ski" broke clean through. I don't know whether to blame the packaging or the design of the unit (but it is very stout).
