This table is very sturdy and heavy! It works great in our short term rental dining room. The finish had imperfections upon arrival and a new table top was sent to us, but it also had some imperfections in the veneer surface. It now has a "well loved" look and a bit of a patina so it actually works well for us. The first image shows the size with one additional insert, it comes with one other insert, so it can extend to quite a length. The other two images show the type of imperfections that are across most of the surface. The white bits and the cup ring are shown after a good cleaning with a damp cloth and they are not removable. I loved this table when we got it. There was a very large flaw about the size of a dollar bill that I decided to live with. Then the first time we used it my glass sweat on the surface and it left a mark. I thought it would dry, the mark remained. Every drip leaves a permanent mark. When I tried to wipe the whole area, I took the gray was off. That was unacceptable to me so I lightly sanded the surface, filled the hole, gray washeded the surface and then put a finish coat on the whole thing. This table is amazing. It's beautiful, functional and easy to use. The adjustable foot pegs are wonderful to stabilize the piece. The rollers to extend and add the leaf are quite smooth and can be opened by one individual. UPDATE Nice looking table however veneer top started bubbling up 6 weeks after delivery and setup. Contacted Wayfair and was told we would hear from incident resolution team within 3 business days. After 3 weeks I called them back and they immediately shipped a new table top. Delivered and installed today. So far no bubbles in the veneer.
